SLMM denies the Tamilnet report

April 16 (Lanka Muslims) The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission denied a tamilnet report that the SLMM had accused the Sri Lankan army forces of aiding and abetting the reneged Karuna faction of the LTTE. Tamilnet, a pro LTTE web site claimed that the Nordic truce monitors had said last week that Karuna's group operates with the backing of the Sri Lankan armed forces.
